Dr. Barbour was born and raised near Grand Rapids, MI. After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies in Michigan, she was accepted to the McLean/MGH Psychiatry Training Program at Harvard Medical School where she also eventually served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she was awarded the Harvard Dupont-Warren Fellowship which provided her advanced neuroimaging training. Dr. Barbour currently has a number of roles as an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, the Medical Director of the TMS Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital and the founder and training director of their Neuromodulation Fellowship program while also providing ECT and TMS consultations and treatments at McLean Hospital. She is also a member of the Clinical TMS Society’s Research Committee and Clinical Standards Committee. Dr. Barbour has expertise in numerous areas of neuromodulation.

Originally from Indiana, Dr. Pottanat relocated to New York City for his training in General Psychiatry at the Metropolitan Hospital Residency Program. During his residency, he completed training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Institute.
Subsequently, he relocated to Boston for his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital.
Dr. Pottanat is committed to providing comprehensive and innovative treatment options to his patients. At McLean Hospital, he serves as the Medical Director of the 3East Dialectical Behavior Therapy Residential Programs, which offer intensive dialectical behavior therapy for adolescents and young adults with a history of self-harm and suicide. Dr. Pottanat has received training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research through the Center for Integrative and Interventional Studies (CIIS) and specific training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Psychedelic Therapy Boston's training program. Additionally he holds the position of Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
Previously, in 2016, Dr. Pottanat spearheaded and directed one of the pioneering non-academic Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) centers in the Boston area. He is a member of the Clinical TMS Society's Research Committee.

Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Lum attended the Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in General Psychiatry at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Program before completing a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Hospital Program. He also has a Master’s degree in secondary education and has served as the Medical Director at a large community based mental health practice for the past 20 years. Dr. Lum worked with Dr. Pottanat to open the first non-academic TMS center in the Boston area.

Dr. Kritzer-Cheren is from Miami, Florida and received his medical and graduate degrees from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His graduate work in Molecular Pharmacology focused on novel approaches to manipulating signaling cascades. He then completed Psychiatry Residency at Duke University as a research resident followed by a clinical fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been awarded multiple grants in translational neuroscience with a focus on neurocircuit mechanisms of neurotherapeutics. At MGH, he is the Director of Preclinical Research in the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation and Assistant Medical Director of the Ketamine Service.

Dr. Siddiqi is a Neuropsychiatrist who has been involved in precision neuroimaging since early in his training and continues to be an international leader in the research space. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and the Director of Psychiatric Neuromodulation at the Center for Brain Circuit Therapeutics. Dr. Siddiqi develops targeting for the Stanford University School of Medicine group which created the Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT). Dr. Siddiqi is the co-chair of the Neuromodulation task force for the National Network of Depression Centers and sits on the Research & Clinical Standards committees for the Clinical TMS Society.

Dr. Terechin completed her residency at Berkshire Medical Center, where she focused on childhood adversity and substance use disorders. Prior to that, she was a research fellow at Harvard Medical School's Emotional Cognition and Social Neuroscience Lab. Dr. Terechin is also trained in EEG Neurofeedback and mentors with Sebern Fisher. Currently, she serves as the Medical Director of outpatient substance use services at Salem Hospital. In addition to her clinical and research experience, Dr. Terechin is involved in advocacy and serves as a representative of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society at the American Psychiatric Association Assembly.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Ann’s father’s career as a school principal motivated her to get a degree in English Secondary Education for At Risk Youth. While at school, she found her way into the hospitality industry and has remained in this field for the past two decades. The industry also brought her up to the New England area which she has made her home. Ann was eager to transfer her skills of providing for others to a more clinical role and has been trained as a TMS technician by our team.

Born and raised in the Boston area, Barbara received her undergraduate degree and M.A.T. in Secondary Science Education from Simmons College. She taught Biology at Brookline High School and while there, developed new curricula in the areas of nutrition and human reproduction, supervised many student teachers, and received the Outstanding Biology Teacher of Massachusetts award. As an instructor at Simmons College, she co-taught the graduate level science teaching methods course for over a decade. She served as a faculty advisor at Lesley College and UMass and consulted for WBGH, Prentice Hall and Planned Parenthood. Barbara received her health coaching credentials in 2016 from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and went on to start her own business, A Better Balance Health and Wellness.
As BPN’s health coach, she is able to merge her prior background as a science educator with her work and life experiences, helping others overcome their lifestyle challenges. She believes that as you learn how to balance the different aspects of your life, you’ll feel better, both physically and emotionally. Ultimately, this balance will allow you to meet your health and wellness goals.
